Man-San is a talented visual communicator who earned her BSc in Environmental Sciences from the University of Guelph and her Master of Science in Biomedical Communication from the University of Toronto. Over the past decade, she has collaborated with experts in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries and academic institutions. Her work ranges from producing 2D patient-education animations to designing immersive VR training modules that help surgeons perform complex procedures and improve patient outcomes.
Man-San has received numerous awards from the Association of Medical Illustrators, including individual awards and as a contributor to team projects with her previous employer, AXS Studio. As Project Lead and Senior 3D Artist at Osso VR, she helped develop a surgical training platform named one of TIME Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2022.
Driven by a passion for equipping students with creativity and adaptability to thrive in an ever-changing field, Man-San joins us as we lead our profession through new realities shaped by AI, emerging media, and global shifts in science communication. We are excited to have her on our team as we prepare the next generation of medical illustrators to define the future of visual healthcare communication.
