We conducted an innovative workshop on bone drilling for implant retention of facial prostheses! The workshop was held in the Temporal Bone Lab facilities on campus, using 3D printed skulls, with expertise and instrumentation generously provided by our colleagues Abdul Atayee and Sharon Zitello from Southern Implants.  Surgical faculty, clinical fellows, and our clinical anaplastology grad students – Cherise and Jess – participated.  Everyone brought their skills to a new level!

Thanks to Juan García, our faculty member in Art as Applied to Medicine, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, for organizing this great event!
