                                                Juan Garcia: Clinical Anaplastologist

Juan Garcia, Clinical Anaplastologist and Professor in The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Department of Art as Applied to Medicine, was featured in the fall 2023 edition of the Hopkins Medicine magazine. The article, aptly titled Restored, highlights Clinical Anaplastology’s place as a life changing tool for patients living with physical disfigurements by helping to restore a sense of normalcy through use of prosthetics.

The article takes us from the creative and clinical process to the creation of the new Master of Science Clinical Anaplastology graduate program. Also included are fellow faculty and Clinical Anaplastologist, Andrew Etheridge, and the first CA student, Nicole Alderson, now working in Indiana.
