The 2022 AMI meeting in Des Moines was our first in person AMI meeting since 2019!
Hopkins students, faculty, and alumni were well represented this year. John Dorn (’96) was co-host of the meeting; faculty members Tim Phelps, Jeff Day, and Jennifer Fairman were presenters and/or on panels. Several alumni were featured on the program including: Amanda Behr (’04), Sarah Chen (’17), Mesa Schumacher (’15), Veronica Falconieri Hays (’14), Brittany Bennett (’19), and Betsy Weissbrod (’10). Lightening talks were given by Julia Lerner (’17) and Noelle Burgess (’20). Mark Miller (’86) managed the Vesalius Trust Silent Auction. AMI membership elected two Hopkins alumni to the Board of Governors: Daniel Müller (‘00) and Jeff Day (’15). Alumni and friends of Gary Lees attending the meeting gathered to view a facsimile of Gary’s portrait and wonderful timeline banner and to congratulate Gary on his retirement.

More than 40 alumni attended the Hopkins dinner at the meeting. We look forward to seeing even more alumni in Nevada, the conference dates are July 19 – 22, 2023.
