The Maryland STEM Festival is a month-long celebration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics that takes place every Fall. The Maryland STEM Fest brings together hundreds of events focused on fun, interactive science learning opportunities. Students, families, friends, STEM professionals, teachers, volunteers will all enjoy events taking place throughout Maryland. As a special focus leading up to the Maryland STEM Fest Art Contest, this event will focus on how Art and Science are more closely related than you think. Jennifer Fairman, Juan Garcia and Andrew Etheridge will be joining other professionals on a panel the Maryland STEM Fest and representing the Department on a panel to promote careers that combine art and science as a kick-off to the Annual Art Contest. There will be career panel discussions moderated by Ava Marie from the Baltimore station WBAL-TV 11 Weather Team, and art and STEM activities for all. Among the participants will be NASA, the Future Makers, Games4Good, and our very own faculty from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Department of Art as Applied to Medicine:
