The Master of Science (MS) degree in Clinical Anaplastology has enrolled our first graduate student, Nicole Alderson. Nicole will work under the instruction of our two full time faculty members,  Juan García and Andrew Etheridge, to complete her clinical practicums, capstone research project and other required coursework.

Nicole came to the program in the summer of 2021 with a background as a designer for the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she collaborated with dentists on several facial prosthetics cases. She became interested in pursuing education and professional credentials to become a certified clinical anaplastologist, applying her artistic and clinical skills to improve the lives of patients. She is expected to complete requirements for the MS degree in May 2023, making her the first person to attain this academic achievement.

Associate Professor Juan García developed the MS graduate program in Clinical Anaplastology in collaboration with subject matter experts in the field to prepare professionals in the role of providing clinical care for patients needing facial, eye, and body prosthetics. Andrew Etheridge recently joined our faculty as an Instructor this summer.
