Use a game engine to build an interactive teaching module for a scientific, medical or healthcare topic in 2D or 3D.

Course Description

Objectives

  • Gaining familiarity with game engines and coding

  • Creating interactable game objects and sprites

  • Optimization of 3D assets for game engine rendering

  • Incorporating instructional and UI/UX design to help users with learning.

Build an online HTML5 learning module 

Resources

Course syllabus, Macintosh or PC computer hardware and software, Adobe Creative Cloud and other Adobe CC software, removable media, scanners, Ethernet/internet connectivity, stylus-based input devices, laser and color printers.  Software manuals, tutorials, and third-party books, websites and handouts on various computer topics will also be made available
