Ebony is the Academic Program Coordinator for the MBI and CA Programs in the Department of Art as Applied to Medicine. What does this mean? It means, she is the email on the other side of an applicant request and the voice at the end of an inquisitive phone call. She’s responsible for helping those interested in the MBI and CA programs go from an email to an applicant. From needed coursework to completing an application she’s your go to. Ebony currently greets incoming students and faculty with a smile and sometimes a joke. Her daily motto is, “Laugh More.”

As a graduate of MICA (Maryland Institute College of art), with a background as a primary and secondary school educator, and as a medical Administrative coordinator, Ebony has a love for education and Art that brings a unique and fun perspective to her role in the department. You will often find her asking lots of questions, taking notes, and sometimes sketching.

When Ebony is not answering emails and cracking jokes, you can find her painting, drawing, making jewelry and running a small arts and jewelry business. As an arts enthusiast, she can also be found frequenting her favorite museums, and local galleries, and visiting local eateries and craft markets.
