
Norman J. Barker, MS, MA, Recipient of the 2022 Ranice W. Crosby Distinguished Achievement Award
The recipient of the Ranice W. Crosby Distinguished Achievement Award, for scholarly contributions to the advancement of art as applied to the medical sciences, is Norman J. Barker, MS, MA, Professor of Pathology and Art as Applied to Medicine, and Director of Pathology Photography and Graphic Arts.
Norm has been instrumental in the development and delivery of the Photography course taught to the graduate students in Medical and Biological Illustration (MBI). He has always been willing to share his expertise of professional photography and design with our students, faculty and staff, and in doing so has enhanced the MBI program and the mission of the Department of Art as Applied to Medicine.
