Nicholas Reback

Nick spent his childhood in rural Wisconsin, about 30 miles west of Madison, where he occupied his time chasing the chickens and wandering the countryside while his imagination explored uncharted territory. He was introduced to Medical Illustration during high school, but after college somehow found himself with a Bachelors in Industrial Design from the Cleveland Institute of Art. After 10 + years working as an Product Designer (eight of them spent designing medical devices for an awarding winning consultancy in his hometown) Nick changed course to pursue what he had originally set out to do: become a Medical Illustrator.

Nothing provides Nick with a greater sense of personal fulfillment than learning about the natural world. Medical Illustration combines his interest in visual communication with his passion for science and teaching and allows him to give something positive back to society. In what little spare time he has, Nick enjoys running, sailing, making gourmet homemade pizzas and being with friends and family.
